Ministry of mining industry and geology  of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducts research on the earth’s interior by various geophysical methods based on the study of the natural physical fields of the Earth and provides the following types of services in the field of fieldwork:

• Seismic work in the modification of 2D and 3D
• Three-component vertical seismic profiling
• Electrical exploration, etc.

Enterprises carry out their activities in all oil and gas-bearing regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Only during the years of independence on the results of geophysical surveys conducted by the Society openly 126 deposits of hydrocarbons, which helped to offset the decline in long-developed fields and contributed to the building up of the raw material base of the Republic.
