Scientific research within the structure of the Ministry of mining industry and geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out by lnstitute of Mineral Resources, Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Institutes, Institute of Geology and Geophysics and lnstitute of Geology and Exploration for Oil and Gas fields.

• Areal study of the territory of Uzbekistan

• Studies of minerals and development of state-of-the-art technologies of mineral raw materials complex processing

• R&D works for the development of technical means for geological exploration
