Ministry of mining industry and geology  of the Republic of Uzbekistan prepares geotechnical, hydrogeological, ecological and geological feasibility studies for perspective on the disposition of industrial and civil construction facilities.

The hydrogeological map is compiled on the basis of new International geological stratification with geological section stratification to rock strata being different in hydrogeological properties and forming aquifer complexes. The hydrogeological map is able to serve for substantiation of setting up regional research, area selection for groundwater search and exploration for various economic purposes, and for development of a regional observation network for groundwater monitoring.
